Antigravity Yoga is a discipline practiced under suspension, the perfect marriage between relaxing, well-being, dream of fly and aerial gym. Christopher Harrison, American athlete, dancer and choreographer, is the pioneer of this discipline. In 1991 he founded the artistic company Antigravity Inc and in 1999 he designed the first antigravity hammock with a soft touch texture.

The discipline has been developed initially as a warming-up training and muscular reinforcement for ballet company. Soon Harrison discovered pressure-relief benefit on column and joints through zero compression reversals. Ultimate the basic program, in 2007 Harrison officially presented Antigravity Yoga. From then on, the discipline is growing all around Europe.

Lessons are available for everyone, but knowing contraindications is required: glaucoma, pregnancy and recent surgery.
